Ik ben David Quakkelaar, pianist met een brede muzikale achtergrond in zowel pop als klassiek. Na negen jaar pianoles, waarin ik me verdiepte in muziek van onder andere Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Muse en verschillende filmscores, ben ik verder gaan studeren aan het conservatorium. In 2023 ben ik daar afgestudeerd. Sindsdien heb ik in allerlei bands en theatershows (op dit moment een Celine Dion en Louis Davids theatershow) gespeeld, en stond ik op talloze podia in het hele land – van popzalen en theaters (Paradiso, Ronda Tivoli, Oerol, Zwarte Cross) tot tv- en radiooptredens. (3FM, Khalid&Sophie, Radio 2) Naast het spelen heb ik ook een eigen muziekstudio, waar ik opneem voor artiesten, projecten en bands. Al ruim zeven jaar geef ik met veel plezier pianoles. In mijn lessen staat het plezier in muziek maken centraal – of je nu houdt van klassiek, pop of filmmuziek. Samen zoeken we naar wat jou inspireert achter de piano.
