Pianolessons

Pianolessons

From classical to pop or jazz—it’s all possible on the piano. Whether you want to play by ear or learn to read music, we’ve got you covered, right at your own doorstep.

Our lessons cover both contemporary and classical music, creating a balance between playing with chords and reading sheet music. This balance depends entirely on the style that inspires the student most. One week we might play a pop song from the radio, and the next, we’ll work on a piece of sheet music. We don’t stick to one rigid method. Instead, we work on pieces that the student actually wants to play. Through those songs, we introduce concepts from well-known methods without getting stuck on the sometimes "dusty" or dated tunes. We also love making time for improvisation and composing original music. In modern music, keyboards and synthesizers have become indispensable. Today’s hits are full of diverse keyboard sounds, which is why we also offer lessons on keyboards and synthesizers in addition to the piano. The content of these lessons is tailored to the equipment the student has at home; our teachers will adapt the material to the available gear. For those interested, we can cover music theory and ear training (solfège). Above all, the joy of making music comes first, with the goal of developing your own musical identity, style, and taste.
