My passion for music began when I was 8 years old and saw a friend play the piano at school. Fascinated, I asked my parents for lessons and soon began studying with a university professor. By the age of 12, I knew I wanted to pursue music professionally. I took courses in sight-reading, theory, and history, and performed in children’s music festivals. These early experiences shaped my deep connection to the expressive and disciplined nature of piano playing. I later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Piano Performance from the Art University, studying under a teacher trained at the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg and attending international masterclasses. My musical journey continues to be rooted in emotional expression, technical refinement, and an ongoing commitment to personal growth. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Musical Leadership at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I am a piano teacher with over eight years of experience working with students of all ages and levels in both private and public music schools. My teaching approach balances technical precision and expressive freedom. I focus on helping students build a solid foundation in technique—posture, tone, articulation, and phrasing—while also guiding them to develop musicality through listening, imagination, and emotional awareness. Each lesson is tailored to support the individual’s strengths and needs. I integrate mindfulness practices to help students manage stage anxiety, build focus, and feel more connected to the music. Beyond lessons, I organize performance opportunities and group discussions that encourage reflection and confidence. I see teaching not just as skill-building, but as a way to empower students through music’s transformative potential. I am currently studying Musical Leadership at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam to further enrich my teaching and community impact.
