Jamsession <20 jaar

Every first Monday of the month, you’re welcome to join us for a jam session with your own instrument. This year, Hart Haarlem and Music on the Block are organizing a monthly jam session at Slachthuis Haarlem for young people up to 20 years old.
A jam session is an event where musicians come together to create music spontaneously in an informal setting. Do you play an instrument or sing? Then you’re welcome to join! Everyone is welcome, regardless of age or experience. Even if you can play just a few chords, you’re ready to jam.
The monthly jam session at Slachthuis is a low-threshold event designed to encourage young people to make music together more often. It’s also a great way to meet other musicians. Want to make friends who share your love for music? This is the perfect opportunity—and who knows, you might even meet your future bandmates. Prefer to just listen? That’s fine too! Existing bands are also welcome to showcase their music.
Sometimes a jam session can turn into a bit of a chaos, so it’s helpful to have someone to guide the process and keep things on track. That’s why the monthly jam sessions at Slachthuis are led by Joshua Aaron.
What to bring to a jam session: (Bass) guitar (+ cable) Earplugs (available for purchase at the bar if needed) Drumsticks (if you have them) Keyboards and microphones are provided.
