Davide Ruglioni

“Supportive, organised & patient”

Born in 2001 and originally from Italy, Davide started playing guitar at the age of 11 and quickly developed a deep passion for the instrument. His musical journey began with the blues, inspired by legends such as Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Later he discovered jazz, and became fascinated by both traditional masters such as Wes Montgomery, George Benson and Joe Pass as well as modern innovators such as Kurt Rosenwinkel and Gilad Hekselman. Davide began his formal studies in jazz guitar at the Conservatorio Giacomo Puccini in Italy. After two years, he participated in an exchange program with the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree. He then returned to Italy to pursue a master’s degree in jazz guitar, participating again in an exchange program, this time with Taller de Músics in Barcelona. These international experiences have broadened his musical perspective and shaped him as a guitarist and teacher. Davide is looking forward to sharing his knowledge, inspiration and creativity with you!
