Daniel Sykes

My name is Danny. I am a sound engineer, producer, singer, songwriter, guitarist, bassist, and mixing & Mastering Engineer. I am originally from Ireland and I am a native English speaker, who is also actively learning Dutch. I have been working music for over a decade and move to the Netherlands to expand my experiences and work with amazing and talented musicians from all over. Working with many bands, artists and students, such as Focus, Nas, Folamour, Molton Grove, Tijger Tijger, and many more, it's always been my favourite part of the experience helping others to translate their feelings, emotions, and thoughts into the music they make. Whether it be a quirky sound, incredible solo or great vocal melody, i love capturing the raw and honest performance as well as helping people develop it further and further delving into the incredible possibilities that music holds for everyone. All my lessons follow a similar approach. The goal is to get you singing, playing and/or making music that speaks to you and those around you, helping you open up that connection for more human experience as well as learning about yourself through this amazing path of self discovery! I am here to help develop your skills, whether that is to develop more vocal pitch and range control, expand your chord knowledge on the guitar, fit the pocket with the bass, or to glue it all together in production. The goal is to get you connected to what you can do, and start the journey of finding one's musical voice!
